We are pleased to inform that, there will be an event on Community-Initiated Iskandar Malaysia Conference 2014 on 18th October 2014 (Friday) from 10.00am to 6.00pm.

 

This Conference is organized by Johor Tiong Hua Association, co-organized with Johor Bahru Chinese Chamber of Commerce and industry (JBCCCI), Southern University College and in collaboration with Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) and SME Association of Malaysia.

 

Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Menteri Besar Negeri Johor is invited as a guest of honor and will be officiating the event and Datuk Ismail Ibrahim, Chief Executive of IRDA will be delivering a keynote address during the event.

The objective of the conference is to provide a platform to stakeholders, members of public and investors:

 

  • To get updates on various key developments in Iskandar, i.e. Property, Business, Education, Tourism, Healthcare, Services and other conventional and emerging industries.

 

  • To initiate active and consistent communication and conversation between Government, Business Sectors and Local Communities to unleash and tap on the opportunities available in Iskandar.

 

  • To identify, highlight and discuss on various challenges and outlook perspectives of business and investment opportunities especially for Chinese community.

 

  • To encourage active participation and engagement in tackling issues and concerns and thus deriving constructive feedback, solutions and new ideas which will contribute to the economic growth, human capital and social development in Iskandar.

 

  • To instill stronger bond and ownership in the communities in making a better and brighter future in Iskandar.

 

In addition to offering participants sharing of knowledge, information, experience and investment insights, the conference is also an excellent networking platform for some 1000 stakeholders and members from various sectors and communities in Iskandar Malaysia.
