SMEs, Individuals to get training on online business

KUALA LUMPUR:  About 1,800 small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) and individuals are set to benefit from training programmes on online business operations.

The 24-session programme, starting tomorrow, will be jointly conducted by SME Cloud Sdn Bhd and MYNIC Bhd, Technology Park Malaysia announced in a statement today.

"The initiative is aimed at heightening awareness among the Malaysian business community on the importance of having an online business identity with the right channel and medium," it said.

SME Cloud is an MSC status company and a cloud-based mobile applications developer. The company is also an incubatee of the Technology Park Malaysia Innovation Incubation Centre.

Meanwhile, MYNIC is an agency under the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia. It is the sole administrator for web addresses that end with ".my" in Malaysia.-Bernama
